SAIGA M3 EXP-01 single-shot semi-automatic rifle is developed on the base of the AK-47 Kalashnikov assault rifle and demonstrates high reliability and accuracy of fire under the adverse conditions. It is intended for law enforcement forces, convoy and security units.

It is equipped with a folding butt made of glassfiber-reinforced polyamide. A characteristic feature of this rifle is its possibility of firing with the butt folded.

The trigger-and-firing mechanism of a hummer type allows to deliver single-shot fire and to set a rifle at safe. The barrel bore and chamber are chrome-plated. Found on the receiver LH side is an unified rail for the optical sight accommodation. The iron sight allows to deliver aimed fire with the optical sight in place. The rifle can be used both with night vision and optical sight. On Customer's order the rifle may be furnished with a carrying sling and a pouch.
